For seeing, tasting and trying, we organise the 1st International Rijk Zwaan Organic Day on Wednesday, 16th September 2009, at our trial station in Germany – Werl Hof Flerke. In our trials you can see varieties of Rijk Zwaan, grown in organic conditions in direct comparison with the main varieties. The special highlight will be our carrot range. In our trials we show the tried and trusted standard range and the brand new varieties in different segments.

The demo days organised by Rijk Zwaan are the perfect preparation for the new season. Our complete range of varieties for outdoor cultivation will be on display, with full information. From 21 September up to 16 October inclusive, we would be glad to personally show you our demo field in Fijnaart. Opperdoes is home to the complete range of cauliflower and cabbage, including the newcomers: cauliflower Stabilis RZ F1 (26-283 RZ) and Civitas RZ F1 (26-240 RZ), red cabbage 28-303 RZ, pointed cabbage Tourima RZ F1 (30-252 RZ) and industrial variety Sufama RZ F1 (30-259 RZ). An overview of our major commercial carrot and beetroot varieties will also be displayed in crates. Crop advisors from Rijk Zwaan will be on hand to provide any information, and visitors can naturally enjoy a drink and some snacks.
