Varieties

The Caribbean concept encompasses several varieties.

Caribbean Gold RZ: This variety is grown in a large number of countries. It performs very well in areas with a (sub) tropical climate, as found in South and Central America.

Caribbean Giorgio RZ: This variety is for production in southern Europe. It has a typically Caribbean appearance. Its aroma and flavour make it a joy to eat.

Caribbean Pearl RZ: New Caribbean variety. 34-794 RZ has been tested successfully during the Brasilian season in 2008. The variety will have its commercial introduction coming season.

Caribbean 34-780 RZ: New Caribbean variety. 34-780 RZ is a retail size (1,2 kg). The variety performs well under South and Central American conditions.

In the near future, more varieties will be introduced.
